Our History
Avjobs, Inc. was established in 1988 as The Airline
Employment Assistance Corps. Owner and President
Tim Lahey, a former flight attendant and pilot,
was often asked how he found his job with the airlines.
That is what sparked his idea to, "Help People Find
Jobs" in the aviation and aerospace industry.
In 1992, Avjobs was the originator of online aviation
employment services when we launched our Bulletin
board Service, and today remain the longest running
aviation employment Web site of its kind. That's
an accomplishment we are very proud of.
In 2002, we started doing business as Avjobs.com.
We simplified our company name to be easily recognized
by word of mouth, online, in print and, to reflect
that we work with the entire aviation industry.
The fall of 2005 brought to fruition the highly
anticipated Applicant and Employer Portals. Each
are being utilized by leading applicants and key
industry employers every day.
Today, we celebrate 24 consecutive years serving
aviation and remain steadfast in our approach to
fill the needs of both aviation applicants and employers.
